How to Enjoy Yourself More

1. Recognise Your Discontent.
If you are not enjoying yourself then you are discontent – you are disapproving of something or objecting to something. Admit to yourself what that actually is.
2. Take a Deep Breath.
And let it out! This gives you a mental and physical break-point, a point that can lets in change.
3. Give Yourself Permission.
Consciously remind yourself that you are actually allowed to enjoy yourself wherever you are and whatever is going on.
4. Choose to Join in.
Choose how you will join in or engage with what is going on around you.
5. 10-Minute Recheck.
After 10 minutes check in with yourself – are you enjoying yourself more? If so, build on it. If not, time for another deep breath and choice to change.
