Dealing With Stress
When Feelings Betray Us
Stress is our response to outside pressure. Some people seek out challenges or high-pressure environments and enjoy building their resilience and the exhilaration of living at high-speed. But, we can all experience times of excess stress.
If you are someone that normally enjoys or seeks out stress then perhaps the most important message that I can give you is to say that intrinsically unhealthy habits are most unlikely to actually be helping you, even if it may seem that our culture can support this as part of a high-speed lifestyle. And, of course, the inevitable health and social effects will present themselves over time even if you believe yourself to be bullet-proof at the moment.
